The Haaheo a me Kuikahi 2017, hosted by by PFLAG Kona/Big Island, will be held as a “stationary parade” on the side of Queen Kaahumanu Highway after the organization announced on a Facebook page for the event that there were not enough police officers available for special duty legally required for the parade.

The “stationary parade” will take place from 8-11 a.m. on the side of Queen Kaahumanu Highway south of Henry Street.
